Twenty-three doctors successfully completed advanced Paediatric Emergency Medicine Course (PMEC) conducted by the ChildLife Foundation. "This important course is to enhance knowledge and train physicians for the vast field of Paediatric Emergency," said ChildLife Foundation's CEO Dr Ahson Rabbani, speaking at a ceremony held at Civil Hospital Karachi's Ata Ur Rehman Auditorium at the conclusion of the course.

The CEO Rabbani further said that the course was aimed at enhancing knowledge, skills and behaviours that guide paediatricians to provide quality care to those countless people who come to our Emergency Rooms (ERs) to save lives.

Vice Chancellor DUHS Professor Dr Saeed Quraishy, the chief guest of the event, gave away shields and certificates to 23 doctors of the 9th and 10th batches on successful completion of the PEMC. He said ChildLife Foundation had defined standard operating procedures and implemented systematic approach for the treatment of children in emergency rooms.
